Why We Started

The prologue of this story stems from a shared vision between Polytechnic students after graduation. Equipped with IT skills and a budding passion to teach and inspire, we asked ourselves: how do we create a platform that makes code meaningful for young learners in Singapore? The answer became The Coding Mentor.

Our Journey and Goal

In an age where digital literacy matters more than ever, our goal is to help students shift from being consumers of technology to active creators. We champion a safe space for trial, failure, and joyful discovery while teaching code that solves real problems.

Why we differ from other schools

We go beyond standardized lessons with student-led, real-world learning that builds both skills and confidence.

  • Hands-on projects instead of textbook repetition
  • Mentorship-led support tailored to each learner
  • Real problem-solving over one-size-fits-all drills
  • A creative, safe space for every student to experiment
